To just be... to feel... and to live simply. That is the whole point. That is where the magic lives.

It is a beautiful paradox, isn’t it? The more we crowd our lives with unnecessary things and loud desires, the further we drift from the pure joy that is already standing right in front of us. To me, empty luxury feels completely lifeless.

True happiness is much humbler. It is the quiet, natural ability to find wonder, gratitude, and opportunity in everything—anytime, anywhere. That is how I grew up, and that is how we remain happy at our very core.

When you pair that simplicity with the voice of your heart—when you learn to improvise, to laugh, to appreciate, and to hold onto a fierce, child-like imagination—life ceases to be a heavy struggle. It becomes a beautiful, wide-open meadow. A playground. A sea without borders.

Sitting on the terrace today with a lukewarm cocoa-coconut tea and a softly scented breeze.

A few new herb plants recently joined our terrace family. They are upgrading our meals, but they are also spontaneously teaching me about life.

I wasn’t always someone who noticed the magic of a growing leaf. For a long time, I wanted the fast, packed rhythm of a big city. But the conclusions we make in life aren't always accurate.

When we clear away the heavy distractions, a beautiful emptiness opens up. And in that space, pure joy naturally creeps in. You don't have to live on a tiny island to find it—it just takes a little bit of your time to stop and truly see.

And there is immense joy and a sense of calm and peace within you when you follow—even though the sea on which you travel won't always be calm...
